Enjoy the comforts of home in charming accessible guest bedrooms, catch up on your reading in the cheerful sunroom or stroll around the grounds and find yourself mesmerized by dragonflies dancing across the pond. After a night of rest in one of the rooms overlooking wetlands and prairie or forest, sedges and wildflowers, you’ll wake to the scent of a home-cooked breakfast. Choose from four-grain waffles, apple pancakes, bananas foster French toast or a variety of egg preparations with potatoes, and sausage or bacon. Enjoy fresh-baked muffins, sweet breads, coffee cakes or biscotti to go with your coffee, tea or juice.

This craftsman-style home is located in Harvard and is adjacent to a pond and remnant of Illinois oak forest. It’s perfect for birdwatchers! You can watch the cranes the place is named for in the early morning graze. If bird watching isn’t your thing this bed & breakfast is close by to many exciting things to see in do in in McHenry County.
