Lena KOA

Information

Visit and see why campers of all ages return for a variety of camping experiences. Just 35 miles east of historic Galena, this flower-landscaped campground includes wooded and grassy areas surrounded by rolling farm fields and tourist attractions.

Visit the KOA for a complete variety of camping experiences, including cottages, cabins, campsites, and teepees at this friendly, quiet, and relaxing rural setting. The four log cottages offer shower baths, kitchenettes, gas log fireplaces and air-conditioning. One cottage is wheelchair accessible.

Modest accommodations are available in six cabins with heat and air-conditioning. The guest provides the bedding and cooking utensils, but the KOA Camping Kitchen, a large gazebo with cooktops, electric grill and sinks with hot and cold running water, is available. Or, for more traditional camping, ninety campsites are available including full hookup, open grassy or wooded sites, and big rig long and level pull through sites with 50 AMP service.

Also available are two unique teepees. The recreation/game room, planned activities in the summer, heated pool with double tube slide, low rider bike rental, jumping pillow, playground, and sand volleyball will be a hit with the kids. A wheelchair accessible family restroom is available. Pets on a leash and campfires are allowed. Small country store with groceries and gift shop, RV supplies, and LP gas (cylinders or motorhomes filled) are also available.
