Zion's Annual Nostalgia Days
Come out and enjoy the Annual Nostalgia Days Car Show and Cruize. Live music on Friday night and on Saturday. Also enjoy the antique and custom car show on and cruise on Saturday, food vendors, kid's activities, DJ's and fun for everyone. Car show and cruize will be held on Sheridan Road in Downtown Zion.
McHenry County Fair
The McHenry County Fair is a 68 year tradition held in Woodstock, Illinois. At the fair you can see 4-H, Open, and Junior Open livestock and non-livestock shows, educational displays revolving around conservation and agriculture, various vendors from different businesses and organizations across the county, a carnival, and a variety of ground and grandstand entertainment. It is an event for families to come to create summertime memories that last a lifetime.
Windsor Harvest Picnic
Come and enjoy this family-friendly festival in its 120th year. Entertainment comes to you in gospel, country and rock. Fountain City Amusements provides a carnival atmosphere with plenty of food as well as the Ice Cream Social. There is also a 5K run/walk, a pedal tractor pull, parade, and a raffle drawing. Entertainment this year is Gospel Group Firebox, Phil Dirt presents Surfs Up, a tribute to the Beach Boys, and Country Artists Chris Cavanough and Shenandoah.

This is Waukegan's 17th Annual Ray Bradbury's Dandelion Wine Fine Arts The Dandelion Wine Fine Arts Festival is dedicated to showcasing local and regional artists and venues, championing the arts, remaining free to the public and remembering one of Waukegan’s favorite sons, author Ray Bradbury.
Vernon Hills Summer Celebration 2016
Join us for 4 days of food, fun, carnival rides and free entertainment and a huge beer tent. There will also be children's activities, bingo, live bands every night and fireworks on Thursday. Urbana Sweetcorn Festival
The Urbana Sweetcorn Festival is Champaign County’s largest free festival. Urbana’s signature summer event is a two-day celebration of food, live music, arts and crafts and of course - all the delicious, locally grown sweet corn you can eat. Taking place in the heart of downtown Urbana, the 2016 festival will run Friday, August 26 from 5 to 11 p.m. and Saturday, August 27 from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.

Midwest Wizard of Oz Fest
The Midwest Wizard of Oz Festival has been a long standing tradition began in 1982 when Wizard of Oz store owner, Jean Nelson, came up with the idea to create an Oz-themed festival. Since then it has grown to be one of the biggest festivals in the nation that produced crowds of about 30,000 people each year.
Kane County Fair

Shelby County 4H & Jr. Fair
One of only a few fairs that still highlight their 4H and Juniors. The fair includes dog care and obedience, judging in livestock, poultry, rabbits, lambs, produce, flowers, plants, and many other subjects. The Food Shack serves plenty of great food each day of the fair manned by the various 4H Clubs in Shelby County. The fair wraps up with the popular livestock auction and team penning.
Scarecrow Daze Festival
During the Annual Scarecrow Daze Festival, the entire city of Shelbyville is decorated with scarecrows. With a different theme every year, entrants decorate their homes and businesses to the theme. There is also a large parade on Saturday, kids' games, a beer tent, music, a quilt show, and plenty of food and crafts, in downtown Shelbyville.
Chautauqua Days Celebration
Days of old come together for this festival brought back after many years. This festival showcases the historical Chautauqua auditorium, the centerpiece of Forest Park. There will be live entertainment from Jeannie Kendall & Carl Acuff Jr. Show, the U.S. Army Soldiers of Swing, Eagle Wings Christian Concert, A Car, Truck & Motorcycle Show, A bean Bag Tournament with double elimination, local musicians, a kids area with inflatables, craft vendors, food, and more.
Brickworld was founded under the prinicples of getting together with existing friends and making new friends. Our motto (Share - Learn - Explore - Discover) reflects our intent to be not only a fun event, but also an educational event where LEGO artists and engineers learn from each other. Each year we hold an auction to raise money for charities. Items in the auction are also donated by sponsors and attendees.
The Sandwich Fair (DeKalb County Fair) is the oldest continuing fair in the State of Illinois. It brings over 175,000 visitors to the Sandwich Fairgrounds every year with harness races, draft horse pulls, carnival rides, demo derby, grandstand shows and the Midwest’s largest display of agricultural and home arts exhibits. It’s a traditional fair with the awesome fun of a modern theme park. The Sandwich Fair is quaint, old-fashioned fun – a great place to stay connected. There’s something for everyone! Join the fun! Local bands paint the soundscape, and other attractions include live art demos and a kids activity corner, ensuring fun for the whole family.
Celebrate the Great Lakes Naval Station's 104th Birthday
Come and celebrate the Naval Station's 104th Birthday in a big way! Enjoy two full days of "fire-cracking" festival fun at one of the biggest celebrations in the region! Each day the celebration will include three stages of exciting live music and family entertainment, a bingo tent with thousands of dollars worth of prizes, a craft fair with handmade items, the Gridiron. Experience with interactive football activities including a "Kicks for Cash" competition, the Kid's Zone with plenty to do for children of all ages, roving entertainment/costumed characters, thrilling carnival rides and games, a 5K Twilight Run, delicious festival food and beverage booths all available from local area vendors, and lots and lots more! Then enjoy the amazing firework displays that will take place this year on both July 3rd and 4th! Free admission. Thursday hours 3pm-11:30pm and Friday hours 12pm-10pm.
