Wyldewood Cellars Winery
Wyldewood Cellars, a family-owned and operated winery, started in Kansas and expanded here to Illinois, produces over 40 different types of wine. What began as a small Elderberry winery has blossomed into an internationally recognized and awarded winery. Since their beginning, they have won over 400 international awards for their Elderberry Wines, Grape Wines, as well as their other varietals. Wyldewood Cellars Spiced Elderberry Wine was featured and served at the 2002 Winter Olympics in Utah and was awarded the Best Non-Grape Wine in North and Latin America, among many other Gold Medals. Sample and purchase their gourmet wines at their Illinois location where they produce, bottle and label their family's nostalgic wine.
Rossville Depot Railroad Museum
The Rossville Depot Railroad Museum features a collection of material from various railroads in East Central Illinois including the C&EI, Wabash, Illinois Terminal and NYC. The depot also includes a HO scale model railroad with over 1,000 feet of total track and 130 switches.
Constructed in 1857, Mann's Chapel is the oldest standing church in Vermilion County. The chapel is now part of the Vermilion County Museum Complex and can be rented for special occasions with seating for 125-150 available.
Middle Fork Forest Preserve
Middle Fork Forest Preserve, 1600 acres in northeast Champaign County, offers visitors a campground (53 of 65 campsites have electricty), brand new playground, swimming beach, fishing, hiking, boat rentals, cross-country skiing, picnicking, a Waterfowl Management Area, renovated meeting facility and programs. The campground now accepts online reservations.
Middle Fork State Fish & Wildlife Area
The Middle Fork State Fish & Wildlife Area consists of 2,700 acres of grass, forest and cropland, and wildlife habitat. The area also includes a portion of the Middle Fork River, a State and National Scenic River, with over 1,000 feet of scenic corridor for canoeing and fishing. The area also allows for hunting, hiking, picnicking, and camping.
Salt Kettle Rest Area/Pioneer Salt Mines
The Salt Kettle Rest Area is accessible from the westbound lands of I-74, between Danville and Oakwood, and is located near the original pioneer salt mines. A monument stands at the site in honor of the area's first industry.
Sugar Shack Antiques
At Sugar Shack Antiques, you'll find a specialized mix of antiques, primitives, handmade quilts, old hunting and fishing items, western items and antlers, horns, and hides. Also featured is packaged meat from the KD Farm including bison, deer, elk, and Texas longhorns.
Guests have the opportunity to rent canoes, kayaks, and paddleboats to explore the rivers and lakes at Kickapoo State Park. Canoe and kayak trips (8 or 13 mile) are offered or rentals can be done by the hour. Following your adventure, guests can grab a bite to eat at the on-site Dockside Cafe which offers live music throughout the summer.
Kickapoo State Park Campgrounds
Kickapoo has two major campgrounds for tent and trailer camping, with 184 sites. About half the sites have electrical hookups, two shower buildings are available to all campers and a sanitary dump station is available. Campers occupying electrical sites are required to pay for the availability of electricity even if the service is not used. A limited number of walk-in sites are available for primitive campers. The shower buildings are closed by November 1 (may be earlier if bad weather) and reopen May 1 (may be earlier - weather depending).

Homer Lake Forest Preserve contains 892 acres for fishing, boating, hiking picnicking, cross-country skiing and sledding. Also available is an exciting Homer Lake Interpretive Center, which hosts thousands every year through programs like "Homer Lake Take Me Fishing" and the unique Natural Playscape.

What started as a retail shop in the small farm town of Homer, has expanded into a national wholesale soda distributor. Shop hundreds of flavors of soda in this adorable little shop located on Homer's main drag. Pick up anything from the classic orange soda to bacon and cherry infused, so you get as creative as you like. While you'll see these sodas at restaurants and shops all over town, there's nothing better than picking these up right from the distributor.

Gordyville USA is a family-owned and operated establishment. The heated spacious building encompasses 160,000 square feet of space all under one roof. The multi-functional grounds are the site of several diverse events such as horse shows, flea markets, farm equipment sales, estate and land auctions, and the Annual Gifford Bank Craft Show. There is also a restaurant on the grounds.

Harry "Babe" Woodyard State Natural Area
This area encompasses 2.2 miles of the Little Vermilion River, listed as a significant stream because of its aquatic features. The site supports 12 state endangered or threatened species and provides habitat for 23 forest interior species.

Ludwig Farmstead Creamery
Guests can tour the farm, watch how several types of cheese are made and sample some of Ludwig's products for just $5.00. Tours can be scheduled for groups of 10 or more throughout the week or on Saturdays for groups of less than ten or individuals. The Creamery sits on Feathercreek Farm, a 150-acre, fifth-generation family farm originally settled in 1866. The Ludwig family's primary business is the care and breeding of high pedigree, purebred Holstein dairy cattle.

Vermilion County Museum
The Vermilion County Museum was built as a replica of the 1833 county courthouse where President Abraham Lincoln practiced law from 1841-1859. Exhibits include the Lincoln Law Office in Danville, a schoolhouse, coal mine shaft and more.
Danville Dans at Historic Danville Stadium
Built in 1946 as part of the Brooklyn Dodgers farm system, during the summer the field is home to the Danville Dans, a college summer wooden bat team. This NCAA-sanctioned, Major League-sponsored wooden bat collegiate league plays at Danville Stadium.
