Alton Food Truck Festival
This event will feature food trucks from around the region offering global street food cuisine. In addition, the amphitheater’s concession team will offer beverages of all types to compliment the food trucks. Live music will be showcased on the amphitheater stage with Boogie Chyld as the Food Truck Festival’s headliner. The Alton Food Truck Festival is free to the general public. Each food truck will have a different food offering with a range of prices. Antioch's Summer Arts & Crafts Faire
This newly designed Summer Hand-Crafted Arts and Crafts Faire will feature artisans from around the country. Enjoy more than 140 booths of hand-crafted goods for summer and fall, food and free admission. There will also be plenty of children's free fun including face painting, balloon art and "Paint our Town!"
Moultrie-Douglas County Fair
The sights – neon lights from the carnival, the prize winning painting in the Fine Arts Show, a grand champion steer; the tastes – cotton candy melting in your mouth, a cheeseburger from the Woman’s Club stand, an ice cold beverage to cool down. The biggest decision to make? Do you want vinegar on your French fries? The 86th Annual Moultrie-Douglas County Fair will be held Sunday, July 10 to Saturday, July 16.

Boone County Fair

Henry County Fair
A week long summer event showcasing Henry County’s premier agricultural talent; area residents display their livestock, art and garden pride. Watch, or better yet, partake in the tractor pull or demolition derby. Food and carnival rides for all to enjoy.
Greene County Fair
This traditional county fair has been around since 1856 and continues to provide fun for the whole family! Don't miss the great food, entertainment, the annual Queen and Little Miss pageants, carnival rides, sand volleyball, mud drags, truck/tractor pulls, horse racing, and commercial vendors. Carterville Free Fair
The 103rd annual Carterville Free Fair will include a Twilight 5K Run/Walk hosted by the Carterville Chamber of Commerce. Sponsored by the Carterville Lions Club, the fair will be Sept. 8 through Sept. 10 at Cannon Park Midway off Greenbriar Road. The event offers carnival rides, games, free entertainment, food and more. The annual free fair parade begins at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 10.

Genoa Days & Cogs Run 5K
This years Genoa Days will be the 81st annual! The dates this year will be June 8th-11th, 2016. The Genoa-Kingston Fire Department is a nonprofit organization that hosts Genoa Days as a fundraiser to support the community with new equipment, gear, vehicles, ect. Skinners Amusements will be providing the carnival again this year! There will be King and Queen contest the first night and live music nightly!
