Moweaqua Golf Course is located one mile west of Moweaqua, Illinois. It is a public 18 hole golf course for golfers of all abilities, as it offers four sets of tees and a maximum yardage of 6,300 yards. The course is a popular site for golf outings and features a driving range, pro shop, and snack bar. Moweaqua golf course opened in 1993. The course started out as a simple, but challenging, nine hole course. In 2000 the the Village of Moweaqua purchased land that bordered the course to the west and in 2003 the back nine was built. Golfers now have an 18 hole layout.
