Windsor Harvest Picnic
Come and enjoy this family-friendly festival in its 118th year. Entertainment comes to you in gospel, country and rock. Fountain City Amusements provides a carnival atmosphere with plenty of food as well as the Ice Cream Social. There is also a 5K run/walk, a pedal tractor pull, parade, and a raffle drawing. This year for one show only is Country Legend Marty Stuart.
St. Donatus Feast & Carnival
107th Annual Feast & Carnival. All food homemade, no vendors; pizza, beef, clams, Italian, Mexican, and of course, carnival, rides & bingo. 6-10PM.
Shelby County 4H & Jr. Fair
One of only a few fairs that still highlight their 4H and Juniors. The fair includes dog care and obedience, judging in livestock, poultry, rabbits, lambs, produce, flowers, plants, and many other subjects. The Food Shack serves plenty of great food each day of the fair manned by the various 4H Clubs in Shelby County. The fair wraps up with the popular livestock auction and team penning.
Scarecrow Daze Festival
During the Annual Scarecrow Daze Festival, the entire city of Shelbyville is decorated with scarecrows. With a different theme every year, entrants decorate their homes and businesses to the theme. There is also a large parade on Saturday, kids' games, a beer tent, music, a quilt show, and plenty of food and crafts, in downtown Shelbyville.
Annual Festival with national bands and acts, diverse ethnic food vendors, huge carnival, arts and crafts. Also, special guest and Super Sunday Family Fun Day.
Pana Tri-County Fair
Come out to the Tri-County fair! Hickory Hills Street Fair
The Hickory Hills Street Fair is an annual event in town for over 25 years. It has a beer tent with entertainment; food booths and craft fair. There is also bingo and rides for the kids - something for everyone.
“Ciao” on delicious Italian food and delight in a grand parade. This week long festival will include midway rides and games, live music from award winning artists, a bocce tournament, a grape stomp, a pasta cook-off, a kids pet and bike parade, a road race and an art contest.
Herrick Lions Club 4th of July Celebration

Galena Wine Lovers' Weekend
At the heart of the weekend, the Grand Tasting and Wine Auction offer more than 300 varieties of hand-picked wines and spirits from which to sample. The Grand Tasting held on both Friday and Saturday night includes a commemorative wine glass and hors d'oeuvres. Enjoy wine dinners, wine, spirit and beer tastings, cooking demonstrations, local winery tours and brunches all weekend.
Fine Art Fair
The 5th Annual Fine Art Fair offers more than 50 artists with art for purchase, musical entertainment, vendor booths, community art project, raffle, food, drinks and fun! 11AM-5PM.
Effingham Artisan Fair
The 11th Annual Effingham Artisan Fair kicks off Friday, so come out and join the Effingham community for the “Arts & Hearts” celebration. This year, we are again expanding to include an “Artist Soft Opening,” where over 30 artists will display their art for the community one day early. A variety of events will be held to raise awareness for the arts in the community, including a live art auction benefiting A.R.C., not-for-profit community informational booths, and along with TREC Big Wheel races. In addition, we’ve brought back beer tasting to the ever-popular wine tasting event.
Easter in the Country
The 35th Annual Easter in the Country will be held at Sandwich schools south of Route 34 on Wells, Lions & Dayton Street. Stop by Sandwich to see beautiful crafts such as painted windows, lighted bottles, pop can jewelry, hair bows, porcelain flowers and handmade baskets. Shuttle service will be provided to each location, no strollers allowed. The $3.00 admission fee benefits the Sandwich School Music Association.
Downtown Car Show/Cruise Night
Downtown Car Show / Mt. Vernon Cruise Night - The Car Show will be located on 9th Street between Harrison and Jordan. Features cruise night, car, truck, and motorcycle show; entertainment, food, demonstrations, and a 50/50 drawing. The Car Show will have various models from "Classics" to "Modern."
