William Watson Hotel
Our hotel was built in 1838 by William Watson. It was frequented by Abraham Lincoln and his contemporaries when practicing law in the old Pike County courthouse. We renovated for over two years and reopened in December 2008. All of us here at WWH are passionate about Pike County, and want to share that passion with you. Westview Golf Course
Enjoy 9 or 18 holes at Quincy's public golf course. Westview Golf Course is managed by the Quincy Park District and offers a pro shop, restaurant and affordable golf on a beautifully maintained course on the south end of town. Home of the Pepsi Little People's Golf Tournament each year.
Washington Park is the city's original central square laid out by Quincy's founder, John Wood, in 1825. The square was formerly called John's Square, named in honor of President John Quincy Adams. In 1858, Washington Park was the site of the sixth Lincoln-Douglas debate. Laredo Taft's sculpture now marks the setting of the debate site. Today, a farmer's market is held in the park every Tuesday and Saturday mornings from May to October.
