Willow’s Hometown Café is located in the Frederick Townsend Garage and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places as part of the Sycamore Historic District. The distinctive stone structure was constructed in 1906 for use as a garage for the estate of Frederick B. Townsend, his former home is the Queen Anne mansion that overlooks the garage property. The structure is made of granite rocks gathered from Townsend’s farmland, right here in Sycamore.
Open seasonally Friday - Sunday, March to November. 2016 opening day is March 18th. This seasons hours are 1:30 - 8:30, on Fri/Sat, and 1:30 - 5:30 on Sun. Enjoy farmcrafted spirits grown from the finest grain, handcrafted and distilled on our fifth generation family farm. From seed to spirit. Tours and tastings are $10/person, and include a souvenir shot glass. Tours will occur every hour on the hour, with the last tour starting one hour before close. Cocktails will be available to purchase by the glass to enjoy in the tasting room or on the cocktail patio. There will also be branded logo wear, bottles of whiskey and vodka available for purchase.
