Yesterday and Today is the high energy and entertaining interactive Beatles experience featuring brothers Billy, Ryan and Matthew McGuigan with a backing band. No wigs, no accents – the brothers do not try to impersonate the fab four, but rather honor the music and memories that people have attached to the legendary songs. The performers take audience requests before the show and at intermission, which drive the show; no two shows are ever the same. Audience members will be singing along and dancing in the aisles!

WRO-USA is a rapidly growing competition, with plans to expand to 150 teams across at least 15 states in 2016, culminating in the National Championship at Northern Illinois University. Now in its third year in the United States, WRO-USA is expanding its program to reach even more young people throughout the country. They not only encourages young people to develop the necessary technical skills, but teaches significant life skills as well. Visit the Northern Illinois University Convocation Center on September 4, 2016 to watch the World Robot Olympiad-USA 2016 National Competition. Based at Hinckley Airport (0C2) in the friendly village of Hinckley IL, situated about fifty miles West of the hustle and bustle of downtown Chicago.
Our shop specializes in artisan garden spinners, crafted by Bill Saloga. These beautiful pieces are as efficient as they are artistic, using an aerodynamic and bearing technology Bill and his dad developed, allowing the spinner to perform with as little as two m.p.h wind speed. As Windmill City Spinners changes from season to season our artistic presentation of home and garden décor makes this little shop a worthy destination.
Willow’s Hometown Café is located in the Frederick Townsend Garage and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places as part of the Sycamore Historic District. The distinctive stone structure was constructed in 1906 for use as a garage for the estate of Frederick B. Townsend, his former home is the Queen Anne mansion that overlooks the garage property. The structure is made of granite rocks gathered from Townsend’s farmland, right here in Sycamore.
Built in 1856, this Italianate building is home of the Aurora Historical Society and where you’ll find historic photos, books, documents and maps covering Aurora’s history from the 1830s to now. Tours of fully furnished home & exhibits offered by appointment. Season tours begin on Sun., April 10 and will be offered at 1, 2 and 3 pm every Wed. and Sun. through Sept. 28. They will be closed on July 3 to prepare for Independence Day. Tours are free; donations appreciated.
