12th Annual Spores N More Mushroom Festival
Come and enjoy the thrill of the hunt for the elusive morel mushroom or come and bid at the auction. Friday night kicks off the event with a welcome dinner, reception and speaker in Windsor. Saturday morning, come and join the hunt for a fee. If you like morels but not the hunt, come to the auction and bid for your winning batch. The 2015 hunt and auction will be based out of Shelbyville's Forest Park.

This is sure to be a fun-filled show starting at 2 p.m. and doors opening at 1 p.m.
Livingston County 4-H Park is located 1.7 miles from downtown Pontiac. Nightly, weekly, and monthly rates are available. Sites for RVs include water, and either a 50amp or 30amp electrical service. There is a dump station on site. Bathrooms and grills are available. Unlimited tent sites. Pets allowed, but must be leashed at all times.

Abe Rail Splitter Statue
This clean-shaven statue of young Mr. Lincoln stands in front of the Illinois Exhibits building at Gate 1 of the State Fair Grounds. He is about 30 feet tall, a thin, gawky pre-grow-a-beard Abe. He holds an ax almost in Muffler Man configuration -- the statue is named "The Rail Splitter" -- and dates from 1968, when he was sculpted by Carl W. Rinnus, a Springfield native.
