3rd Annual Craft Ale Fest
Locals and visitors alike looking to sample the flavors of Lombard shouldn’t miss the 3rdnd Annual Lombard Ale Fest on Saturday, June 11th, 2016. Situated in the heart of downtown Lombard, and adjacent to the Metra Station, the fest will feature over 80 unique beers from more than 40 craft breweries both from Lombard, Chicagoland and around the country, as well as foods that pair well with the brews, from some of Lombard’s favorite restaurants. The fest starts at 1 p.m. and goes until 5 p.m.
Chef Clash in the Arena
This is a fun experience where 100 local people will share a taste of their best dish from one of these categories: appetizer, soup/salad, bread, side dish, main dish or dessert with 600 or more attendees. Tickets are $75 each and include unlimited alcoholic beverages and sampling. There will also be Live & Silent Auctions during the event.
Comedy Hypnosis Show at Pere Marquette Lodge
Come enjoy Pere Marquette Lodge's famous fried chicken buffet and then join in a gut-busting Comedy Hypnosis Show. Watch in wonder as Dan Ladd brings down the house. Reality changes, personalities radically alter, and laughs pile on laughs as your friends and loved once become superstars. Things are about to get "All Shook Up" at Pere Marquette Lodge, when Steve Davis performs his salute to the King of Rock and Roll. Come enjoy Pere Marquette Lodge's famous fried chicken buffet and then sit back and enjoy an hour-long tribute to the King. From the 1950's hits " Heartbreak Hotel," to his later smashes "Devil in Disguise" and "Suspicious Minds," the music of the legend lives on in this special tribute experience. Dinner begins at 6 pm and includes fried chicken, mashed potatoes, gravy, coleslaw, vegetable of the day, hot buttered rolls, salad, dessert, coffee, tea and water.
