Autumn Splendor Quilt Show
For the fine appreciation of quilt making attend this show and see hundreds of quilts on display; along with quilt making demonstrations. There will be quilt vendors and food concessions; plus raffle tickets that will be sold at the door for a quilt drawing.
Pause for Patriotism
The Mission of the "Pause for Patriotism" Committee is: to instill a Love of our country, demonstrate an attachment to the land and people, an admiration for our customs and traditions, and a devotion to the welfare of our country in our children and their families through the annual "Armed Forces Day" celebration and other activities throughout the year. There will also be great entertainment, food, and beverages for people all ages.
Kankakee history comes to life with the guided history walk through Mound Grove Cemetery. Actors will portray historical figures sharing their lives and times in Kankakee County. Tours are at 11 a.m and 2 p.m.

Momence Historical House
Depicting everyday life in the late 1880’s, this 1869 home features period furnishings throughout. It originally served as a private residence. The Momence Women’s Club was instrumental in preserving this lovely house museum. The home is maintained by the City of Momence. The arbor and gardens were created by the Momence High School Shop Class and Main Street Momence.
