Friday and Saturday specials are posted out on a rustic board along the street, and range from prime rib to a local favorite, the fully loaded nachos. The name Diver Down is in recognition of the owner, who is a diver that can help out if anyone at the local marina has a spun prop, or other problem on the Ohio River. Diver Down is a full service bar, waitresses are all local characters that keep things flowing smoothly.

Hardin County Heritage Festival
The Hardin County Heritage Festival and Duck Race on the Ohio river celebrates the county’s rich heritage and history. The event includes exceptional period entertainment and activities to fill your weekend, including; 1800’s outdoor play, Civil War reenactment, pageant, quilt show, duck race, area craft and food vendors. Festivities also include a period ball, a Regal Women’s Tea and live entertainment throughout. Events are held in Elizabethtown (Saturday) and at the Hardin County K-12 School located East of Elizabethtown on 146. (Friday night pageant)

It is the centerpiece in The Bear Branch Horse Resort, a horse camp with 80 campsites and 6 cabins. It features down-home country cooking including catfish and steaks. The Rustic Log Cabin Restaurant, open Friday through Sunday, offers a quiet setting, great food, and a spectacular view.
