Meet us at the American Farm Heritage Museum in Greenville! This train show, hosted by the American Heritage Railroad, will include several train displays with the opportunity to buy equipment and supplies. Also the American Heritage train will be running all day. This will be fun for the young and the old alike.

Indian Princess Storytelling at the Confluence Tower
Meet Indian Princesses Pocahontas and Sacajawea during a special storytelling experience Saturday, July 9 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The two princesses will appear at the Tower's outdoor amphitheater for a storytelling session and meet and greet. Father's Day at the Tower
Celebrate Father's Day by giving Dad a free tour of the Lewis & Clark Confluence Tower. All fathers, when accompanied by family members, will receive free Tower tours. See the views from 150 feet above the confluence of the Missouri and Mississippi Rivers.

Lewis & Clark Frontier Dog Walk
This event will center on walking your dogs on a two mile course. There will be dog trainers, groomers, and dog adoptions from local societies. At 1:00 p.m. a guest speaker will be hosted within the Interpretive Center's theater. The event is only on Saturday, from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. Dogs will only be allowed in the theater between 1:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. Dogs may be walked through and around Camp River Dubois. Jo-Al Winery and Country Store
Jo and Al, husband and wife vintners, produce wines made from local fruits of nearby orchards and berry fields. Apples make a nice dry to resemble Chardinay. Blackberries are a little sweet with a dry finish. Strawberries are sweet and smooth. Their country store has home-made jellies, candies, pickles, beef jerky and one of the best salsas in Illinois. Come in for a free taste sample or to browse the gift shop.
International SUNday Festival
Get a good look at the sun through special solar telescopes during the first-ever International SUNday Festival at the Confluence Tower. Members of several local astronomical organizations will be on hand to celebrate the Summer Solstice (which falls on Father's Day this year) from Noon to 5 p.m. The first 100 families to visit will receive a pair of free Solar Glasses. There will be food vendors, including "Good Looking Kettle Corn", Eppel's Pantry and Princivalli's Cafe on hand. Representatives will also share information about the sun, our nearest star in the Solar System. Amateur astronomers will provide their own optical equipment to safely view the sun including hydrogen, alpha, calcium and white light views. This event is free, although there is a charge to tour the Tower.
Annual Wood River Triathlon
Are you physically fit and up for a challenge? Be a part of the annual Wood River Triathlon. The event will begin with a swim at the Aquatic Center, followed by a bike ride and run through the streets of Wood River.
Arrival at Camp River Dubois
Come celebrate the arrival of Lewis and Clark at Camp River Dubois. This annual event commemorates December 12, the day William Clark and the men of the detachment arrived at the confluence of the "Riviere a Dubois," Mississippi and Missouri Rivers. Lewis & Clark Music Festival
Join us for the annual Lewis & Clark Music Festival. Traditional music of the late 1700s and early 1800s will be performed by musicians playing fiddles, dulcimers and flutes.
