This event will begin at 5:30 pm on the “porch” –located within Elements Restaurant in the heart of historic Starved Rock Lodge. Reservations are required due to limited availability. $65 per person. You’ll enjoy listening to piano, guitar and vocal interpretations of: Sounds from a Starved Rock Canyon, My Illinois Home, The State of Illinois Song, Illinois and Crossing Paths. We are pleased and proud to have Mr. Steve Seaborn as our Emcee for this event. From the State of Illinois Song in 1925 to “Illinois”, a more current, original composition by Dan Fogelberg, this afternoon is sure to peak your musical interest. This event will take place in the Great Hall. This a free event and open to the public. Donations are encouraged to continue bringing quality events.

Ryan's Round Barn
Tour this centennial barn, one of the largest in the country and one of forty-two left in the State of Illinois. It stands 80 feet high and 85 feet in diameter and features a 16-foot diameter floor to ceiling silo. A farm implement museum in on the main floor. Tours are provided by Friends of Johnson’s Park Foundation and groups of ten or more asked to call ahead. Open the first, third, and fifth Saturday beginning May through October. Hours: 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Annawan Fun Days
It’s all about the kids! Festivities are held at Howe’s Park and feature kid friendly activities like an obstacle course, pedal tractor pull, water fights, and the Twinkie train! Evenings offer a movie, food, nightly entertainment, and fireworks – first of the season in Henry County! After the Sunday parade, have a slice of pie or buy one to take home from the annual auction.
