Central Illinois Policeman Ball at Hamilton’s. Social hour starts at 5 p.m. and dinner at 6 p.m. There will be dinner, dancing, award presentation, auction, and guest speaker. 16th Annual Jacksonville Rotary Club Bass Tournament
16th Annual Jacksonville Rotary Club Bass Tournament at Lake Jacksonville. Registration and pre-tournament meeting will be held at 6 a.m. (central daylight savings time.) Drawing for order will take place after meeting (late registration – after March 31st not included in the drawing) There is a 40 boat limit so register early. Entry fee is $150.00 and $10.00 per boat for the Big Bass Pot (optional.) Daily or Seasonal boat permit required. Contact the Jacksonville City Clerk’s office at 217.479.4613 by April 10th to get permit. Proof of $25,000 liability insurance is required. William Watson Hotel
Our hotel was built in 1838 by William Watson. It was frequented by Abraham Lincoln and his contemporaries when practicing law in the old Pike County courthouse.
