Meet your favorite Super Hero during the Super Hero Shuffle 5K/10K Run & Walk and Family Festival at the Confluence Tower Saturday, Sept. 10. This event is sponsored by and benefits Isaac's Rays of Hope, a non-profit organization supporting children with cancer and their families. Join forces with Isaac's Rays of Hope as we honor our smallest but mightiest Super Heroes, kids fighting cancer and other life threatening illnesses! Dress in your favorite super hero costume (not required) and enjoy a scenic stroll or run down the Madison County Confluence Trail near the Lewis and Clark Confluence Tower passing the Lewis and Clark State Historic Site and the meeting of the Missouri and Mississippi Rivers! Course is primarily flat with a few minor inclines. Strollers and wagons welcome.
Peel Wood Fired Pizza & Brewing Company boasts a large dining room, a lounge area with couches and oversized chairs, a 30 seat brew pub, and a 40 foot butcher block bar. In the brewing area, you will find an impressive display of the brew house and fermentation equipment. The 7bbl brew house and 8 vessel fermentation room can be viewed by visitors through glass panels. We bake our pizza creations in a Mugnaini wood burning pizza oven, for authentic Old World Italian baking.
