A Petterson Springs B&B
Located in a very historic area of Camargo, IL at the well-known Patterson Springs where the spring water fills three concrete pools on the grounds, within three acres of wooded nature land, next to the Embarrass River. The Gothic Revival house with a mansard roof was built in 1880. History abounds on the grounds from Native Americans drinking from the springs, to 1906-16 Chautauqua's, to a $50,000 amusement park from 1927-1942. Arcola Historic Train Depot & Information Center
This 1885 train depot displays Illinois Central Railroad memorabilia, the largest Louis Klein collection of antique brooms and brushes in the United States, and interesting Arcola relics and keepsakes. Because Arcola is the birthplace of Raggedy Ann creator Johnny Gruelle, Raggedy Ann & Andy dolls and collectibles are also on display.

Arthur Amish Country Cheese Festival
