Rosanne Cash performs at Dominican University
Join us October 2nd at 7:30pm to see Rosanne Cash, called “one of the most compelling figures in popular music” by the Library of Congress. Rosanne Cash is part of country music’s legendary Cash and Carter families and she charted 21 Top 40 country singles, including 11 Number Ones. Her highly-acclaimed, multi Grammy-winning album, The River and the Thread, hailed by Newsweek as “the work of a lifetime,” is a kaleidoscopic examination of the geographic, emotional, and historic landscape of the American South. The album's unique sound, which draws from country, Delta blues, gospel, Appalachian folk and rock, reflects the soulful mix of music that traces its history to the region.
Uncorked at the Oak Park Conservatory
On Friday, September 25th,from 6 to 8pm, attend the Oak Park Conservatory's "Uncorked." See local artists, listen to musicians, and take a tour of the Fern, Tropical and Desert rooms. Admission includes two drinks and food for $15. Adults only.
Fall Fest at the Oak Park Conservatory
Join us on Sunday, September 27 from 11am-2pm, to celebrate Fall Fest at the Oak Park Conservatory and Rehm Park - free admission! We'll have horse-drawn hayrides, inflatable entertainment, many crafts and activities run by some of our sponsors and delicious food from our local vendors all at Rehm Park! The Rehm Trains will be open during this event. Walk over to the Conservatory where each family will get to pick a pumpkin from our pumpkin patch (while supplies last) and after the kids can decorate their very own masks! All of these fun activities are free, but please bring along some money to enjoy the great offerings from this year's food vendors-cash only at food vendors.
2015 Frank Lloyd Wright Races
Registration for the 39th Annual Frank Lloyd Wright Races is now open and if you register before September 1, you save $10! The race date is Sunday, October 18, 2015! Bring your racing and running season to a close in historic Oak Park with the flat, fast, and scenic route of the 2015 Frank Lloyd Wright Races, featuring a 5K Run/Walk, the 10K Run, and the Youth Mile for ages 7-14. All events are on Sunday, October 18 and start just east of Oak Park River Forest High School (201 N. Pedal Oak Park Tour
Oak Park is home to the world's largest collection of buildings designed by Frank Lloyd Wright. Explore its picturesque historic neighborhoods on the Pedal Oak Park Tour, a guided bicycle tour of the exteriors of 22 Wright-designed structures. Cost is $30 (Trust Members), $35 (Non-members). The Pedal Oak Park Tour operates Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays in June-September from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m.

Built in 1905, Scoville Square was designed by E.E. Roberts and is one of the few examples of Prairie style architecture applied to commercial buildings.
