America's premier comedian, Jerry Seinfeld, will be performing his signature stand-up routine at the Coronado Performing Arts Center. Seinfeld has been hailed for his uncanny ability to joke about the little things in life that relate to audiences everywhere. Seinfeld now sets his sights on performing both nationally and internationally in 2015.
Rockford Speedway - 200 Lap Enduro
The 2015 Rockford Speedway race season officially begins with the running of the WXRX Stone & Double T 200 Lap Enduro. The four cylinder endurance race features 200 laps of wide open racing action, with the first 100 circuits to be contested on the oval track, while the final 100 laps will take place on the tricky "Monza" course. This year's event offers a $500 top prize, and offers hundreds of dollars in bonuses for the following: best appearing car, highest finishing female driver, highest finishing station wagon, highest finishing automatic transmission, highest finishing driver under 18 years old and highest finishing driver over 55 years old.
Orangeville Education Foundation 5K Trail Run
October 3, ORANGEVILLE EDUCATION FOUNDATION 5K TRAIL RUN. Richland Creek Trailhead, 8 am. Join in a 5K run on the Jane Addams Trail to benefit the Orangeville schools. The scenic route follows Richland Creek; it is a flat, out and back course on a crushed limestone surface. Refreshments after the race for participants, plus door prizes, goody bags and more. Art on the Lawn - Klehm Arboretum and Botanic Garden
Art on the Lawn, a Rockford tradition since 2000, is moving to a new home at Klehm Arboretum in 2015. The juried fine art show will feature a wide variety of fine art in many media available to purchase: photograph, ceramics, fiber/paper, glass, mixed media, painting, sculpture, wearable art and more. Admission includes both entrance to the garden for the day and that evening's Woodsong, Klehm's outdoor concert series, starting at 6:00pm.

The 35th Semi-Annual "Pec Thing" Antique & Flea Market Spring show has over 500 vendors selling everything from antiques and collectibles to crafts and home good items. Vendors occupy over 100,000 square feet inside and over 40-acres outside. Parking is free. Concessions will be available. No pets are allowed.

The Gathering at Macktown - Historical Reenactment, 1650-1850
Take a step back in time to experience American frontier life and Native American cultures of the 1650s through 1850s at the Macktown Living History Center. Meet traders, trappers, voyageurs, and Native Americans. There will be food and mercantile vendors, demonstrations, militia maneuvers and skirmishes. Tour historic buildings on their original sites, and meet Stephen Mack and Hononegah as they share their home with you. Plenty of hands on activities, music and much more to see, smell, taste, and explore. Rain or shine, free parking.
