Wild Bill! An Evening with James Butler Hickok
Walt Willey stars in Wild Bill! An Evening with James Butler Hickok. Walt has performed his one man show all over the country. He is bringing his Wild Bill in-school program to the Joliet Township High School and will work with the drama department students. At the end of his in-school program, there will be 2 live performances of Walt’s show, Wild Bill! An Evening with James Butler Hickok, complete with student participation running the sound and lighting for the performances. A portion of the proceeds from every ticket sold will go back to the school’s drama department and theatre program. Performances are Saturday, February 27 at 7:30PM and Sunday, March 1 at 2PM. Tickets are $20 in advance or $25 at the door.

The 9th Annual Red Carpet Corridor including activities at the Joliet Area Historical Museum. It is all about family fun on the most famous road in America - Route 66. The Mission of the "Pause for Patriotism" Committee is: to instill a Love of our Country, demonstrate an attachment to the land and people, an admiration for our customs and traditions, and a devotion to the welfare of our Country, in our children and their families through the annual "Armed Forces Day" celebration and other activities throughout the year. The parade is only the beginning to this festive day - for the food, music and fun is sure to continue as Elmhurst merchants, restaurateurs and friends welcome visitors for this special community celebration. The parade will begin at noon at the intersection of Wilson Street and Spring Roads and continue north on Spring Road.

The Annual Waukegan Air Show, Wings Over Waukegan, is a great time for the whole family and has been extended to a 2-day show.
