Jonamac Orchard Antique Farm Equipment Show

Annual Grape Stomp and Harvest Festival
The Annual Grape Stomp is for those who have the desire to emulate "I Love Lucy" and get their "feet” wet in the wine. There will be wine tasting all day, food by The Catering Company and live music from The Shake performing throughout the day. Yes! is the answer for anyone who wants to come in costume dressed as a Lucy look-a- like and all are welcome to dress up and have fun, there is no charge to enter the Lucy contest. Waterloo's Christmas on the Square
Please join us in historic downtown Waterloo for our 34th Annual Christmas on the Square Weekend! This tradition takes place every year on Thanksgiving weekend. We are so excited to announce the newest event at Greene Gables Inn in partnership with the Greene County Economic Development Group: Art & Wine at the Gables! Greek Fest 2015
Saints Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church will be filling downtown with the sounds of Greek music and the tantalizing aromas of Greek delicacies. James J. Eldred House Fall Festival
Historic Greene County is coming alive with people, places, and objects from the past during the annual James J. Eldred House Fall Festival. The festival will be held September 12-13 at the James J. Eldred House Historic Site. This year our Civil War reenactors will return and present new battles and educate about the times and equipment used. We will once again be hosting our Eldred Family Ice Cream Social and our annual Eldred Family Ball. We will also have have period vendors and music by The Fieldon Spring Band. The Eldred House will be open for tours.

Naper Settlement Oktoberfest
Be part of an annual autumn event that celebrates our community’s heritage. Midwest Wizard of Oz Fest
The Midwest Wizard of Oz Festival has been a long standing tradition began in 1982 when Wizard of Oz store owner, Jean Nelson, came up with the idea to create an Oz-themed festival. Since then it has grown to be one of the biggest festivals in the nation that produced crowds of about 30,000 people each year. This year, for the first time ever, the Midwest Wizard of Oz Festival has been moved to the Chicago Southland area in Tinley Park, Illinois.
Great River Grape Escape

Dinner and a Little History: Gurdon Saltonstall Hubbard The Swiftwalker
Hubbard was 18 when he arrived in Chicago in October of 1818 as a clerk working in the fur trade. After the fur trade ended in Illinois, Hubbard built the first brick commercial building, opened the first meat packing plant in Chicago, helped create the Chicago Board of Trade and the Union Stockyards. He campaigned for and was later appointed as a commissioner responsible for building the I&M Canal. In his long and active life, Gurdon Hubbard saw Chicago grow from a town of four and a half houses, a fort and a Potawatomi town, to more than a half million people by the time of his death in 1886. Speaker: Gary Mechanic, veteran tour guide and storyteller for Friends of the Chicago Portage will bring his story to life. Columbus Day Family Potluck Campout / Kayak Tour

Race Fan Rally
The Race Fan Rally is a yearly NASCAR event on the second Thursday of September and a kickoff event to the NASCAR weekend at the Speedway. Event includes plenty of entertainment on the main stage and other locations, food, beer tents, NASCAR drivers, simulators, classic cars, prize and raffle drawings, everything NASCAR related. Event held from 4 to 10 pm on Chicago Street and side streets.
Governor Duncan Christmas Gala
