The Coal Country Fall Festival is a family oriented event which has features that appeal to all ages. Many parts of the festival are free and entertaining and educational. This year’s outstanding display is a free display of dinosaurs including a life-size dinosaur. Free and live are exotic animals in a petting zoo, including Alaskan reindeer, pygmy goats, two-hump camels, and buffalo. A live reptile display is also a part of the day. There are free rides of the CCCC Choo Choo Train around and in the park. Over 8 hours of free, live entertainment! The Burgoo Festival is an annual village street party featuring flea marketers, craftsmen, musicians, and other entertainment.
