Sauce Alton Food Truck Festival
This event will feature food trucks from around the region offering global street food cuisine. In addition, the amphitheater’s concession team will offer beverages of all types to compliment the food trucks. Live music will be showcased on the amphitheater stage with Marquise Knox as the Food Truck Festival’s headliner. Knox is a Blues prodigy who has performed with B.B. King, Henry Townsend, Louisiana Red, Robert Lockwood Jr., and Honeyboy Edwards to name a few. Other entertainment to be announced. The Alton Food Truck Festival is free to the general public. Each food truck will have a different food offering with a range of prices. Civil War Weekend
The Shawnee Hills Art Council of Anna Arts Center and P.A.S.T. of Union County are co-sponsoring a Civil War Weekend in Anna, IL. Arthur Amish Country Cheese Festival
This 3-day outdoor family street festival features 75-80 craft and food vendors, live entertainment all three days, a ceremonial cutting of a 300 pound wheel of cheese, 700 pounds of cheese given away, a 60 foot sub sandwich given away, antique tractor show, kiddie tractor pull, camel rides, stagecoach rides, buggy rides. Also a parade on Monday, and a kid-zone with games, inflatables, pony rides, rock climbing wall, 5K/10K run, car show and much more.
Arthur Amish Country Christmas Kickoff
The Christmas lighted parade steps off at 5:30pm and will showcase Santa & Mrs. Claus through downtown Arthur. Immediately following the parade, Santa will visit with children and parents in Knights Court downtown to start collecting those early Christmas requests. Complimentary hot chocolate and cookies will be served during his visit. Throughout the day, businesses in the downtown area as well as the countryside will feature early Christmas bargains and host Open Houses.

Bluegill Music Festival
March 16, 2015 - Bluegill Music Festival will lunch its inaugural event on July 4, 2015 for a one-day festival packed with some of country music's hottest acts. The all-day festival will be complete with Southern Illinois' largest fireworks display, along the shores of the Rend Lake Dam, in Benton, IL. The lineup includes Eli Young Band, LoCash, Clayton Anderson and more exciting acts to be announced. Tickets will go on sale this Friday, March 20th and can be purchased at www.bluegillfest.com and at Black Diamond Harley Davidson. Drawing fans from around the country, including Illinois, Missouri, Kentucky, Tennessee and Indiana, the festival is at the intersection of some of the nation's most dedicated country music fans. This event is based on Scandinavian customs dating back to the Middle Ages when farmers and artisans would gather in the village squares to sell their wares. The Market is open from 7:30 a.m. to noon every Saturday morning from May through October. Located on the historic downtown square, the Farmers’ Market is managed by the Downtown Bloomington Association. Not only does the market give customers a colorful venue to buy locally grown farm products, it also puts them in touch with local artisans of prepared goods and fine arts, musicians, and community organizations. Lake Hill Winery
Lake Hill Winery was built, not only to be a winery, but to be a gathering place and have the ability to hold a wide variety of functions. Besides the wine production, there is a tasting room bar, a small gift shop, and two banquet rooms. The first is the barrel room, which holds 100 people. This room is typically booked for smaller events such as reunions, rehearsal dinners, showers, company parties, birthday parties, etc. The other banquet room is the main hall. With two levels, capacity for over 400 people, a 160" TV/projector, and two bars, this room is capable of accommodating almost any event.
