Imagine Dragons will follow their massively successful 2013 with an arena headlining tour in early 2014, before returning to the studio to start work on its sophomore album. Dubbed the Into The Night tour, the North American run will make its way to the Allstate Arena March 13th. The Naked and Famous will serve as support on the trek, which is produced by Live Nation. "It's been just over a year since we released our debut album 'Night Visions,' and the show of support for the music on and off the road has been unbelievable and humbling," says lead singer Dan Reynolds in a press statement. "This is our last North American tour before returning to the studio, so we plan to make it a very special experience for those who come out to share it with us."

Arsenic and Old Lace
The Stage Coach Players present "Arsenic and Old Lace", the story of the eccentric Brewster family of Brooklyn, N.Y. In addition to the scheming old women who poison their victims with elderberry wine, the family includes Teddy, who suffers delusions that he is Theodore Roosevelt and that the Panama Canal runs through the cellar of his home. The locks he digs become convenient graves for the lonely men who fall victims to Aunt Martha and Aunt Abby's machinations. When their nephew Mortimer discovers a body under the window seat of his aunt's home, however, the elderly women fess up to their deeds matter-of-factually and the events become more absurd right up to the surprise ending. Historic 4th at Clayville

The 299 seat theater is named after Harriet Elizabeth Vittum, head resident of the Northwestern University Settlement House from 1907 to 1947. Miss Vittum was a friend, counselor, and good neighbor to thousands of new Chicagoans in her community. She advocated dramatic and musical arts because she believed that they empower self-expression and self-worth.

The Joffrey Ballet

The Chopin Theatre is a two-stage complex in the heart of Wicker Park that plays host to various theatrical and literary events. Roadworks Productions has been the resident theatre company, producing at least three main stage shows each season.

Civic Opera House
The world-renowned Lyric Opera of Chicago performs in one of North America's most beautiful opera houses, the Civic Opera House. The decorative character of the entire building is a hybrid of Art Nouveau and Art Deco styles. Comedy-tragedy masks and cornucopia of instruments abound as playful ornaments around entrances, inspired by the Paris Opera House designed by Jean-Louis-Charles Garnier. The famous painted fire curtain (depicting the parade scene from Aida) and the interior decoration details of the Civic Opera House were created by American artist Jules Guerin in a palette of salmon pinks, roses, olives, golds and bronzes.

This 488-Seat theater hosts several productions each year that features both student and guest performers. During the academic year there are four major productions. The McLeod Summer Theater also produces three or four to finish out the season.
