Annawan Fun Days

Bishop Hill Old Settlers’ Association Antique Car Show
Please join us in historic Bishop Hill and spend an automotive fun day in the Village. The park streets are lined with over 100 vintage cars and trucks each year. Bishop Hill’s Volunteer Firemen will be serving a grilled pork chop meal in the Park during the Car Show. Proceeds from this show go to the restoration and preservation of the Bishop Hill Colony School completed in 1861. 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Route 66 Blue Carpet Corridor Festival
19 communities from Chatham to Collinsville celebrate Route 66. The first annual Illinois Route 66 Blue Carpet Corridor weekend festival showcases unique sections of Route 66 is characterized by its rich mining history and Mother Road charm. A variety of activities along the road festivals, car shows, live entertainment, children’s activities, historic tours and more. Souvenir passports will be available at the various cities and villages. Towns on the Blue Carpet Corridor include Chatham, Auburn, Thayer, Virden, Girard, Nilwood, Carlinville, Gillespie, Benld, Staunton, Hamel, Edwardsville, Litchfield, Mt.Olive, Williamson, Livingston, Glen Carbon, Troy and Collinsville.
Annual Casey Popcorn Festival
Some call it an end-of-summer festival; others think of it as the beginning of the fall season. Casey residents will tell you the Casey Popcorn Festival is just good old-fashioned family fun! Located in the century-old Fairview Park, the Casey Popcorn Festival has earned its reputation as the Premier Family Festival in a two-state area. Music fills the air almost continuously as live bands offer oldies, classic rock, country, and southern Gospel. Kids entertainers such as magicians and animal shows are featured, as well as a huge carnival, more than 60 craft booths, a car show, festival food, and free popcorn, the official snack food of Illinois.
21st Annual Hot Rod Power Tour
The 21st consecutive year for this “ultimate Hot Rodder vacation” will have cars cruising into Champaign County for one stop on a seven day tour with over 3,000 cars and 250 participating vendors on display at Parkland College. The festive atmosphere of the Power Tour Cruise Stop celebrates America’s love affair with the automobile. This free event will include autograph sessions with motorsports celebrities, entertainment, games, dozens of giveaways, and event meet-and-greet opportunities with David Freiburger and Mike Finnegan of ROADKILL.
Arts in the Park
Danville's Art in the Park features over 60 regional artist booths and two full days of continuous on stage performances, festival food, and a children's tent. The "Art of Wheels" classic car show kicks off the event each year on Saturday (June 21) morning.

Windy City Dub Fest

This is a week long summer family festival celebration. Marseilles Fun Days Committee decided to bring the festival back centered around one of the city's premier annual events, The Marseilles Fireman's Car Cruise. The cruise will be part of a busy Saturday, July 18. Fun Days itself will take place Monday, July 13, through Sunday, July 19. Cruise Night in Morris
Years ago, there was a tradition in Morris called "Buzzing the Gut", a simple way of saying cruising Liberty Street. Morris is bringing that tradition back to downtown. Any Classic car owners are invited to participate. For a minimal registration fee of $10.00, car owners can display their cars on Liberty Street starting at 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Entry closes at 8:00 p.m. No rain dates. The public is invited to walk around and enjoy these classic cars at no cost! Proceeds go to Grundy Community Hospice. Second Saturdays through October 10.
North Aurora Days
The Village of North Aurora is proud to continue the North Aurora Days tradition of providing a fun-filled weekend of activities and entertainment for the whole family in our great community. The sponsors, volunteers, and participants of North Aurora Days have been working hard to plan and provide a great celebration filled with fun for the entire family.
