Mill Creek Farms
Mill Creek Farms' season begins in mid-April with asparagus, mid-May though June for strawberries, early July through August for sweet corn, tomatoes, and green beans, and October for pumpkins. The Governor John Wood Mansion is the restored home of Quincy's founder and 12th governor of Illinois. This building is the first example of historic preservation in the state of Illinois.

River Skate along the Quincy Riverfront offers ice skating on a 2,500 ft rink of synthetic ice called Super-Glide. Featuring a warming hut and light concessions. Open from early November to mid February, with hours from 4-9pm Wednesday through Friday and from noon to 9pm Saturday and Sunday. Admission is $3 for children under 12 years of age, and $5 for adults, which includes ice-skate rental and rink admission.

Washington Park is the city's original central square laid out by Quincy's founder, John Wood, in 1825. The square was formerly called John's Square, named in honor of President John Quincy Adams. In 1858, Washington Park was the site of the sixth Lincoln-Douglas debate. Laredo Taft's sculpture now marks the setting of the debate site. Today, a farmer's market is held in the park every Tuesday and Saturday mornings from May to October.
