Reporting for Duty: The WWII Vehicle Experience
Join the First Division Museum for a one of a kind event. You will get the opportunity to experience the vehicles that soldiers used in World War II. The Museum's professional staff will teach you about the vehicles and let you get inside each vehicle to start your day. During the day, you will learn about and handle the weapons used by American and German forces during the war. We will also show you how the medics treated and transported casualties in the field. Everyone will be served a World War II style lunch. You will then finish your day by going on a convoy in the Museum's World War II vehicles. Participants will receive a personalized dog tag and an event t-shirt. The session is 5 hours long, and lunch will be served at 12 noon. Advanced registration is required. All participants must be 18 years or older. There is a significant amount of physical activity involved in this program.
