The Hardin County Heritage Festival is held the Friday and Saturday of Memorial Day weekend and celebrates the county’s rich heritage and history. Ryan's Round Barn

Built in 1895, the red brick for the building came from the Lincoln Coal Company. A unique telephone booth on the roof was added later and was used by weather spotters to phone in sighted storms. NIU School of Music

The lighthouse is located at the west entrance to the city-owned Dorothy Miller Park in Metropolis, Illinois overlooking the Ohio River. The lighthouse stands thirty feet tall and is surrounded by a circular walkway consisting of concrete and personalized bricks.
