Richard J. Daley Center & Plaza
This powerful, 31-story tower was designed by Jacques Brownson (b. 1923) of C. F. Murphy Associates. Composed of three massive structural bays, each an unprecedented 87-feet wide and nearly 48-feet deep, and supported by warren trusses at every floor, the building achieves incredible structural integrity and interior flexibility. The exterior wall plane consists of 12-foot-high windows with amber-tinted glass and 6-foot-high panels of self-weathering Cor-Ten steel, which has aged to a rich brown color. The large public plaza features a 50-foot-tall Cor-Ten sculpture of 1967 by Pablo Picasso (1881-1973), gifted by him to the city of Chicago. Visitors can enjoy swimming, fishing and boating, a Marina with boat rentals, a native garden and nearly seven miles of trails. The 19,000-square-foot Visitor Center features exhibits and a cafe. It can be rented for weddings and other private functions.
Leo Donovan Golf Course
Established in 1929, the Leo Donovan Golf Course is an oasis in the city. Beautiful rolling, irrigated terrain combines with water and bunkers to make a 6,168 yard, 18 hole course preferred by golfers with diverse handicaps. Donovan Golf Course is part of the Peoria Park District Golf system.
Vahlings Vineyards & Winery
Vahling Vineyards is owned by Dennis & Brenda Vahling and located near Stewardson Illinois. The vineyard has 5 acres of grapes used to make wine for the winery along with fruit wines. Vahling Vineyards is open all year Tuesday through Saturday 10 am - 5 pm. We have a tasting room with tables and chairs to sit down and relax and a patio to enjoy when the weather permits. Vahling Vineyards has a two day Spring Festival usually the last weekend in April. The Festival consist of live music, food, craft vendors, and area invited Wineries.

Piece Brewery & Pizzeria
Opened in July of 2001, Piece has been producing small batches of handcrafted brews in their seven-barrel brew-house. Brewer Jonathan Cutler has 16 years of brewing experience, and has brewed at some of the most well respected breweries in the country. Little Grassy Lake
Little Grassy Lake Campground and Marina is located on Crab Orchard National Wildlife Refuge and is a destination stop for returning campers, boaters, and sportsmen. They offer full service camping, primitive camping, boat rentals, concessions, and a bait shop. Reservations accepted to reserve boats and campsites. Pontoon boats, fishing boats, and kayaks can be rented. You don't want to pass up the opportunities to explore the thirty miles of shoreline and embrace the solitude you will find on the lake. The 1200 acre lake is stocked with catfish, crappie, and bass, and offers plentiful oppourtunities for fishing, paddling, boating, and wildlife observation. Amenities include waterfront camping sites, remodeled bathrooms with hot showers, dump station, swimming, pets allowed, monthly educational programs and a renovated concession/bait shop which is stocked with minnows, crickets, camping supplies, cold beverages, food items, ice cream, firewood and ice.
