Dinner Detective Murder Mystery Show
The Dinner Detective is the largest, award-winning, interactive comedic murder mystery dinner show in the Chicagoland area. We are now running public and private shows in 34 cities across the country every week. The shows are set in the present day. Unlike other murder mystery dinner shows, here you will find no cheesy costumes, no recited campy dialogue and no hokey song and dance. Our performers are dressed just like everyone else, leaving all of the guests to suspect who is a part of the show and who is not. In many instances, guests are seated with the performers and don't even realize it until they die...the performers, that is! Our Detectives proceed to interrogate everyone and find clues as more people die. At the end of the night, prizes are awarded to the Top Sleuth who solves the crime. Deerfield Park District's Annual Deer Dash
Deer Dash begins at Jaycee Park and features a 5K race, 10K race, and 1-mile fun run designed for both beginning and experienced runners. Families may come out together and enjoy the event. 12th Annual Spring Housewalk
"Decades of Design in River Forest" is the theme of our 2015 spring house walk, which features five homes in River Forest, spanning 125 years of architectural design and community history. The 12th annual walking tour of the interiors of five private homes takes place from 1-5 p.m. on Sunday, May 3rd. This year's walk puts the spotlight on the wide variety of homes in the village, from the landmark Blocki House, built around the time the village was incorporated in 1880, to a contemporary home built in 2005 which features a glass atrium. Advanced tickets are $30, $25 for members and can be purchased on our website. Tickets also can be purchased for $35 on the day of the walk at Christ Episcopal Church.

Legions of Craft Beer
Plans are in motion for the first Legions of Craft Beer. This event will include at least 30 beer vendors, Gurnee restaurants, food trucks and a wide range of bands.
