Moraine View State Park Campground
Moraine View State Park offers 137 Class A trailer campsites with electricity and a sanitary station. Water is available in several locations in the campground. 102 sites can now be reserved in Gander Bay campground. A boat launch and dock is also situated in this area. Alcohol is prohibited in all campgrounds. The shower buildings are closed by November 1st (may be earlier if bad weather) and reopen May 1st (may be earlier - weather depending). Catfish Bay camp area and Tall Timber backpack trail provide 32 primitive class D sites. Timber Ridge group camp has 3 sites. Timberline Ridge horse camp has 30 Class "A" campsites complete with water, electricity, and hitching racks. Ol' Orchard group camp is currently closed.

Miller Park Zoo
Opened in the late 1800's, this city zoo began to house exotic animals after a traveling circus left behind a lion cub. Located on Historic Route 66 the zoo became a popular attraction among travelers. It is also the only Illinois zoo to feature the endangered Sumatran tiger. They offer many exhibits and zookeeper interaction opportunities that are enjoyed by the whole family. Some highlights include: sun bear, reindeer, Harbor Seals, red pandas, lemurs, Galapagos Tortoise, Bald Eagles, Pallas' Cat, Snow Leopards, gibbons, and Red Wolves. Ironwood Golf Course
The Ironwood Golf Course is the Town's full service golf facility with 18 holes, 7,100 yards and a par 72 championship layout playing from 5400-7100 yards with four sets of tees. The course offers cart rental, a driving range and has a pro shop with club rental. Ironwood was designed by highly regarded golf course designer Roger Packard and meanders through the Ironwood residential subdivision. Illinois Shakespeare Festival
The Illinois Shakespeare Festival is a professional Shakespearean Repertory Festival that is a part of the College of Fine Arts at Illinois State University. The 42nd Annual Illinois High School Shrine Game is scheduled for June 18, 2016 at Tucci Stadium on the campus of Illinois Wesleyan University. Historic Normal Theater

Grand Illinois Trail and Parks Bike Tour
The 14th annual GITAP bicycle tour provides a fully-supported, bicycle-based vacation for up to 225 registrants. This year’s ride starts and ends at Coal City High School, with overnight stays in Oglesby, Washington, Bloomington-Normal (two nights), and Pontiac. Participants average 50 miles per day on quiet country roads and some off-road trails, while their luggage is transported to the next overnight destination. Riders choose between camping at designated in-town locations or staying in nearby motels. The event is not a race. Individuals ride at their own pace touring the countryside and visiting towns, restaurants, and convenience stores along the way. Breakfasts and dinners are provided. Registration costs $460 (extra for motel option) with no pledge fundraising involved.

Golf Learning Center At All Seasons
Named to Golf Range Magazine's Top 100 Ranges in America, the center offers both indoor and outdoor facilities, a full flight driving range, 35 heated hitting bays and two heated teaching bays. Lessons and a full swing indoor golf simulator are available.
Glorious Garden Festival
The Glorious Garden Festival offers self-guided tours through eight incredibly diverse, high-quality private gardens in the Bloomington-Normal community, along with guided tours of Sarah Davis’s heirloom garden at the David Davis Mansion. These gardens provide solitude and sanctuary, where one can soothe the spirit while enjoying the quiet pleasures of an outdoor retreat. The walk begins on the grounds of the David Davis Mansion State Historic Site where walkers pick up their maps and programs. The Garden Walk is held rain or shine.
Genevieve Green Gardens
The Genevieve Green Gardens offer a relaxing setting for contemplation and the appreciation of nature's beauty. Small gardens are tucked in at various locations; there is also a formal compass garden with a beautiful arbor, a Japanese garden, and a main plaza that is highlighted by a water feature. Walkways, accompanied by tasteful signage, conveniently guide visitors around the property and are in harmony with the landscape's topography. Carefully designed lighting makes it possible to enjoy the gardens during evening hours.
Gene's Dairy Delight
Locally owned and operated since 1971, Gene's takes pride in their homemade novelties. Famous for their soft served cones and the Avalanche. This has always been a favorite family stop on Route 66!
Galaxy 14 Cinema
The Galaxy movie theater features 14 screens, stadium seating, digital surround sound, full-service concessions and a mega screen.
Funks Grove Pure Maple Sirup
The Funk family business of producing pure maple sirup began in Funks Grove in 1824, and business has been going strong ever since. Guided tours of the grounds are offered during the sirup-making season that showcase the Funk family process. Tours for groups of up to 30 must be arranged in advance and depend upon weather conditions. Funks Pure Maple Sirup can be purchased at the store, along with Route 66 memorabilia and other Funks products.
Funk Prairie Home Gem & Mineral Museum
Located at the Funk Prairie Home, this museum houses the largest single-owner display of rare gems, minerals, fossils and lapidary art in the state. Also view the agriculture exhibit, along with several antique sleighs and carriages.
