Moraine View State Park Campground
Moraine View State Park offers 137 Class A trailer campsites with electricity and a sanitary station. Water is available in several locations in the campground. 102 sites can now be reserved in Gander Bay campground. A boat launch and dock is also situated in this area. Alcohol is prohibited in all campgrounds. The shower buildings are closed by November 1st (may be earlier if bad weather) and reopen May 1st (may be earlier - weather depending). Catfish Bay camp area and Tall Timber backpack trail provide 32 primitive class D sites. Timber Ridge group camp has 3 sites. Timberline Ridge horse camp has 30 Class "A" campsites complete with water, electricity, and hitching racks. Ol' Orchard group camp is currently closed.

The scenic Comlara County Park campground offers 144 campsites including: 94 electrified sites (Both 50 amp & 30 amp), 23 non-electric sites, 11 primitive / walk-in sites in the Main Recreation Area (MRA), and 16 primitive / walk-in sites in the White Oak Area (WOA). Water is conveniently located throughout the MRA modern campground. Hot showers and a sanitary dump station are also provided in modern areas. Firewood, ice, and fishing worms are only available during the regular business hours of the Visitor Center and MRA Campground Station. The campground is open year-round.

Among the artifacts, you’ll find the bus and van of Route 66 icon, Bob Waldmire—a true legend of the Mother Road. During your visit, you’ll likely spot Bob’s brother, Buz Waldmire, sharing stories of his late brother’s famous travels up and down Route 66. Be sure to step around back for a great photo op in front of the World's Largest Route 66 shield and other great murals. Admission is free.
Livingston County War Museum
Walking through Livingston County War Museum is like taking a tour of the 20th Century, including artifacts, films, books, uniforms and weapons of several wars. The museum does not glorify war, but shows the best attributes of men and women caught up in war. In doing so, we respectfully honor the service of America's veterans, and the men and women from the area who served in the military.
Livingston County 4-H Park is located 1.7 miles from downtown Pontiac. Nightly, weekly, and monthly rates are available. Sites for RVs include water, and either a 50amp or 30amp electrical service. There is a dump station on site. Bathrooms and grills are available. Unlimited tent sites. Pets allowed, but must be leashed at all times.
The menu offers a wide variety of salads, sandwiches, paninis, Neapolitan pizzas and pasta. Entrees include baby back ribs, Marsala boneless pork chops, potato crusted Icelandic cod, filet mignon and New York strip steak. Homemade soup is also served each day. Be sure to save room for our fresh made gelatos.
