Bridge The Gap to Health Marathon
Bridge the Gap to Health 5K, 10K and 1/2 marathon takes off across the Mississippi River each spring, spanning runners and walkers across two bridges. Beginning at 8am and held May 17th in Clat Adams Park on Quincy's Riverfront.
Quincy Pro-Am Golf Tournament
Spring Lake Country Club in Quincy will host the first annual Quincy Pro-Am on Memorial Day, May 30th, 2016. Quincy native and professional golfer, Luke Guthrie will be the headliner hosting 18 professional golfers teaming up with amateurs for a fundraising event to benefit the United Way of Adams County and local junior golf. Tickets for spectators will be $10, with children under 15 free.
Blues in the District
Regional and local bands provide free outdoor performances in Quincy's historic Washington Park. A downtown treat for summer nights, fun for all ages. Bring your lawnchair and refreshments, or purchase food on site. Free admission. Held the 2nd and 4th Friday evenings from June-August from 5:30-9:30pm. Lincoln in the District
Quincy celebrates Abraham Lincoln with their signature event, Lincoln in the District, June 11th from 11-4pm in Washington Park, downtown Quincy. This free event will offer horse carriage rides, living history, crafts, food, Native American Culture and view a Civil War Field embalming presentation. Something for all ages!
