Chicago International Film Festival
The Chicago International Film Festival, now celebrating its 50th year, is North America's oldest competitive international film festival, showcasing over 175 films from 50 countries for two weeks in October. For more than 40 years Ranalli’s has been providing a family-owned tradition of legendary pizza. The Four Corners Tavern Group plans to keep the authenticity of the name, and the pizza a tradition for many years to come. Ranalli's added a feature called the “King’s Table”. The king’s table offers table taps allowing customers to pour their own beer. The table can seat up to twelve and will be available for reservations and private parties. Upon reservation, customers determine which two beers they want on tap. Just steps away from the park, the expansive patio includes new updated furniture perfect for friends and summer league teams. Customers will see the classic thin crust pizza with several specialty pizzas added as well. All events are on Sunday, October 19th and start just east of the Oak Park River Forest High School at Scoville and Ontario Streets, and finish on Scoville in front of the school.

Itasca Historical Depot Museum
The Itasca Historical Museum was the original Itasca Train Depot built in 1873. A 1939 Milwaukee Road Rib-side Caboose numbered 01839 was acquired and restored to its original bright orange appearance with all new doors, windows and wood interior. Kids love the interactive train display in the Depot which looks like Itasca in the late 1800’s with bells and whistles. Open Tuesdays & Thursdays from 11am-4pm and the 1st and 2nd Saturdays each month from 9am-2pm.
