The Dinner Detective is the largest, award-winning, interactive comedic murder mystery dinner show in the Chicagoland area. We are now running public and private shows in 34 cities across the country every week. The shows are set in the present day. Unlike other murder mystery dinner shows, here you will find no cheesy costumes, no recited campy dialogue and no hokey song and dance. Frankfort Half Marathon
The Frankfort Half Marathon will begin and end in the beautiful historic district of downtown Frankfort. The race will commence right outside the door of Running Excels on the Old Plank Trail and run westward. After 2.7 miles of running on the scenic, tree-lined Old Plank Trail, the racers will turn off into the Hickory Creek Forest Preserve. The rolling hills of the forest preserve will provide a picturesque tour for the runners as they reach the halfway and turn-around point in the race. The runners will then proceed back through the forest preserve and to the Old Plank Trail for their final journey towards the finish line and the post-race party on the Breidert Green. 7AM.

The 12th annual walking tour of the interiors of five private homes takes place from 1-5 p.m. on Sunday, May 3rd. This year's walk puts the spotlight on the wide variety of homes in the village, from the landmark Blocki House, built around the time the village was incorporated in 1880, to a contemporary home built in 2005 which features a glass atrium. Advanced tickets are $30, $25 for members and can be purchased on our website. Tickets also can be purchased for $35 on the day of the walk at Christ Episcopal Church.

This is a 2 day Junior Golf Tournament hosted by the Illinois Junior Golf Association. Any Junior golfers interested must register online at the IJGA website.

Annual Fishing Derby
Fish for free. The Department of Natural Resources annually allows fishing without a license the first weekend of June, so join us to promote fishing as a sport and as a family-friendly outdoor activity. You must bring your own bait, tackle and pole. In this case, the early worm catches the fish!
