Morris Day at the Genesee
Longtime Prince collaborator and full-time smooth Morris Day is one of the most swaggering and peacockish funk performers to hit the stage since the Purple One himself. As the frontman of the Time, the charismatic Day built a serious name for himself in the ‘80s with his colorful showmanship, introducing international audiences to his slick stage presence in musical films like Purple Rain and Graffiti Bridge. The feel is casual, comfortable yet energetic and an inviting, exciting and sophisticated atmosphere. The menu features artesian hand tossed Pizza made in a wood fired oven with a very thin crust and exceptional flavor profiles, house made chips, Dutch oven steamed mussels, truffle deviled eggs, proprietary ground beef blend hand patty burgers, Braised Beef of the Day and baked pasta dishes. The Brew-House will produce up to 12 different brews to be served, from Lagers to IPA’s, to Stout’s and seasonal, and even some small batch wood barrel aged specialty beers. The Brew Master will also create craft sodas, do brewery tours and walk throughout the facility and let guests sample our craft brews, and be educated on the Half Day Brewing experience.

Huskie Chi-Town Showdown
Northern Illinois University and the University of Toledo will play in the "Huskie Chi-Town Showdown," the first football game in the 25-year history of U.S. Cellular Field, on Wednesday, November 9, 2016. Annually one of the Mid-American Conference's premiere contests, the #MACtion game between MAC West Division rivals will air nationally on an ESPN Network at a time to be determined. Single game tickets for the Huskie Chi-Town Showdown will be priced at $45, $55 and $65 and will go on sale via Ticketmaster on August 1 along with single game tickets for NIU's five Huskie Stadium home games. NIU students will be admitted free with their OneCard and can purchase student guest tickets for $22.
