Pec Thing Antique & Flea Market
The 35th Semi-Annual "Pec Thing" Antique & Flea Market Spring show has over 500 vendors selling everything from antiques and collectibles to crafts and home good items. Vendors occupy over 100,000 square feet inside and over 40-acres outside. Parking is free. Concessions will be available. No pets are allowed.

Art on the Lawn - Klehm Arboretum and Botanic Garden
Art on the Lawn, a Rockford tradition since 2000, is moving to a new home at Klehm Arboretum in 2015. The juried fine art show will feature a wide variety of fine art in many media available to purchase: photograph, ceramics, fiber/paper, glass, mixed media, painting, sculpture, wearable art and more. Admission includes both entrance to the garden for the day and that evening's Woodsong, Klehm's outdoor concert series, starting at 6:00pm.

Open: Wednesday: 1 pm to 3 pm; or by appointment This museum, in an 1870's building, features artifacts from the Rock City area including pictures, clothing, articles and more.
Frank Lloyd Wright's Laurent House - 2015 Public Tours
Public tours of the Laurent House, Frank Lloyd Wright's "Little Gem," are held on the first full and third weekends of the month. There are five tours each day at 11:00am, 12:00pm, 1:00pm, 2:00pm and 3:00pm. All tours begin at Midway Village Museum. Reservations are required and may be made online at www.laurenthouse.com. Frank Lloyd Wright's Laurent House in Rockford, Illinois is the only building ever designed by the famed architect for a person with a disability. Kenneth and Phyllis Laurent commissioned and lived in the home from 1952 until early 2012, when it was acquired by a private foundation and added to the National Register of Historic Places.

Anderson Japanese Gardens - Japanese Summer Festival
Join in the fun at our two-day cultural event featuring exhibits, traditional demonstrations and unique performances that appeal to all age groups. All Festival activities are included with Garden admission. The Japanese Summer Festival weekend begins with an Opening Ceremony at 10:00 Saturday morning on the lawn near the Pavilion in the Garden of Reflection and will be immediately followed by the first Taiko drum performance.
BMO Harris Bank Center - Breaking Benjamin
Six years have passed since Breaking Benjamin released their last album-2009's Dear Agony-but one listen to their new album, Dark Before Dawn, and it becomes clear that time away from the music world hasn't caused them to lose a step. If anything, the sound is more invigorated, energetic, and purposeful than ever. Erlander Home Museum - Midsommar Fest and Midsommar Natt
Join Swedish Historical Society for it´s annual Midsommar Fest (rain or shine) on the Erlander Home Museum grounds. Dance around the Maypole/Majstång at noon. "Midsommar Natt", the evening program, will feature live music performed by Rockford's very own Miles Nielsen and his band. Enjoy the magic of summer by stepping into a quaint Nordic village featuring Mormor's Attic, Blackhawk Wood Carvers, blacksmithing, and an abundance of artisans' shops in the "Marknad." Stockholm Inn will be serving Swedish pancakes, meatballs, herring open faced sandwiches, hot dogs, strawberries and ice cream. The Prairie Street Brewhouse will be serving BBQ and Lingonberry beer among other things. Baked goods and other treats from several local vendors will also be available. As always, there will be music and dancing with the Swedish Folk dancers, Nordic Dancers of Chicago, and entertainment by DJ Dain. The Erlander Home Museum will be open for tours throughout the day. Visitors are encouraged to enter the raffles which promise wonderful prizes. There will also be contests and fun games for children of all ages. The festival also features a children's area with crafts, story-telling and games, including the Viking yard game, KUBB. Throughout the day, visitors will be able to meet Pippi Longstocking and mingle with residents in Swedish costumes adding to the flavor of Midsommarafton. Admission is free for the daytime event and $10 starting at 4:30pm.
Phantom Regiment Drum and Bugle Corps - Show of Shows
Experience the art of musical pageantry as the Show of Shows features some of the best drum and bugle corps in the world. This event has won People's Choice for Special Event at the RAMI Awards (Rockford Area Music Industry) in 2013 and 2014. Come see why this event has become so special in the Rockford area. Location: Boylan High School Stadium. This year's lineup is one of the largest in the Midwest! Along with Rockford's own Phantom Regiment, the lineup includes 2014 fan favorite Bluecoats along with our Midwest rivals The Cavaliers!
Rockford ProAm Golf Tournament
The Rockford ProAm is the nation's longest-running, free-standing pro/am not associated with a professional tournament. 2014's event featured 20 amateur foursomes paired with 20 professional golfers. The foursomes play in a best-ball handicapped format, while the pros keep straight 18-hole scores. The 2015 ProAm is being held at the Rockford Country Club.
World War II Days
World War II Days includes elaborate and realistic battles complete with tanks, artillery, armored vehicles, and exciting pyrotechnic displays. Saturday the battle shows are featured at 1:3 pm and 3:30pm. Sunday the battle time is 2:30 pm. More than 1,200 re-enactors represent the soldiers of the United States, Great Britain, France, Russia, Ukraine, Poland, Germany, Italy and Japan. In addition to the action on the battlefields, enjoy the skirmishes in the Village and Woods, demonstrations and displays in the buildings, woods encampments and the ambiance of the beautiful venue. Maps of the event site will be available when visitors arrive.
