Family owned and located in Southern Edgar County, out in the country on a pond. We opened in August 1st, 2010 and produce and bottle our own wine. Our banquet hall is 40'x60' area which is used for weddings/receptions, murder mystery dinners, comedy shows, and other events throughout the year. You may sit inside in the tasting room, or venture outside to the wine garden area with tables and chairs or picnic tables around the pond to sit and enjoy your wine. You are welcome to bring in your own snack food, but absolutely no drinks allowed.

Chairs on Parade is an event where Carlinville businesses purchases a chair and decorates it to their liking. The event is all about bringing old fashioned fun, family and shopping together while supporting the local business community. The chairs will be on display outside of the businesses beginning on Saturday, August 6th. Part of the event includes the first ever Carlinville Restaurant Week from Monday, August 22nd through Sunday, August 28th, celebrating local food establishments and retail stores. The highlight of that week will occur on Friday, August 26th with a flotilla parade and afterwards an auction for chairs that are donated back to Shop Local First. The profit from the chairs will go to the local food bank. The night will also include Mid-West Largest Squirt Gun fight, and a street party with Captain Geech & The Shrimp Shack Shooters rock band.

There is a 55 inch flat screen smart TV in the living room and lots of soft seating. The Library has books and games, as well as a computer station/wireless printer. The dining room was designed with separate seating so you can choose to socialize or be by yourself while having your morning coffee. The dining room is also a great place to spread out your projects and work while you’re here. Of course there is WIFI broadcast throughout the first floor, and whole house, to ensure you can stay connected.

The trail is broken into four segments: the north-south segment, east-west segment, the Liberty Branch and the Freedom Branch, all reaching across numerous areas in Bloomington-Normal. Parking for the trail is available at adjoining lots throughout the area. The trail is open to walkers, runners, in-line skaters, skateboarders, cyclists, wheelchair users and other non-motorized forms of transportation. During winter months, it is not cleared of snow, and is available to skiers; weather permitting.
