6th Annual Civil War Santa’s Visit
Celebrate Christmas, 1860s style, at Lincoln Log Cabin. While Christmas would not become an official holiday until 1870, during the Civil War, soldiers both north and south found ways to celebrate. Join us as we welcome our Civil War era Santa Claus, whose image once graced the front page of Harper’s Weekly as he distributed gifts to Union soldiers. Let’s hope they won’t be any hardtack under your tree this year! 10am-4pm
