A group of Rockford natives made the decision to share their passion for fine beer and food with others in the form of a brewpub. Their home is the historic Prairie Street Brewhouse, an important part of Rockford’s history and currently coming back to life as a mixed-use development. Home to the original Rockford Brewing Company, this building was one of the first breweries in the nation, pumping out over 75,000 barrels a year and its peak. Their shiny new 15-barrel brewery is the backdrop to Rockford’s newest destination for handcrafted beer and food. They are proud and excited to bring this wonderful piece of Rockford history back to life and look forward to exceeding expectations.

Established in 1915, Timber Creek is not the ‘run of the mill’ golf course. With gentle rolling fairways, it was designed to give the golfer ample room off the tee while giving the player a challenge of a lie that may be slightly uphill or downhill. The closer you get to our bent grass greens, you will find sand traps placed by the architect in places that add to the overall character of the course. With new sand, you will find it as accommodating as one could. Our greens at Timber Creek were designed for game improvement and the scratch golfer alike.
