Discovery Center Museum - Mornings of Fun for Everyone
We invite children with disabilities and their immediate families to experience Discovery Center's multi-sensory exhibits and activities free of charge before the museum opens to the general public. A healthy snack will be served at 10:00am and families are welcome to stay and play after the museum opens to the public. Advanced registration is required to receive free admission.

Ferguson Fine Arts Theatre Presents: "Grace and Glorie"
Ferguson Fine Arts Theatre and Highland Community College present "Grace and Glorie". Grace is a feisty 90 year old cancer patient, who checked herself out of the hospital and returned to her beloved homestead cottage to die alone. Her volunteer Hospice worker, Glorie, is a Harvard MBA recently transplanted to the rural backwater area in the Blue Ridge Mountains from New York. Glorie is tense, unhappy and guilt-ridden. As she attempts to care for and comfort the cantankerous Grace, the sophisticated Glorie gains new perspectives on values and life's highs and lows.
