A Petterson Springs B&B

Lighted Pumpkin House Display
Lighted pumpkin House - October 25-31 Downtown Arthur - This house is decorated with over 300 pumpkins that are carved by school children, businesses, Arthur community volunteers and surrounding communities. The pumpkin come from Arthur's very own, The Great Pumpkin Patch

This year, the tournament at Hickory Point Golf Club will showcase a three day, 54 – hole stroke play professional tournament featuring a purse of $130,000.
Pasta Alley is a small business which employs adults with developmental disabilities in Decatur, IL. As many as 25 individuals currently help with the production process including the mixing, packaging, and labeling of our unique and flavorful pastas, soups, breads, and sauces. We carry 20 flavors of fettuccine and linguine: garlic and herb, sun-dried tomato basil, habanero, spinach, lemon pepper, sweet basil champagne, and many more. Progress City Cluster of Dog Shows
The Progress City Cluster is a combination of dog shows hosted by the Champaign Illinois Kennel Club, the Mattoon Kennel Club, and the Sandemac Kennel Club. Spectators are welcome to watch all shows for a small fee.
Chet Kingery Memorial Bluegrass Festival
The 4th Annual Chet Kingery Memorial Bluegrass Festivall will be held at The Great Pumpkin Patch this year. Headliners include Doyle Lawson & Quicksilver, Michael Cleveland & Flamekeeper and Blue Mafia. The Midstate Cup Soccer Tournament
Sponsored by MidState Soccer Club and Decatur Park District, this major Central Illinois youth soccer event will bring in over 7000 fans from across the country. Money raised from the event benefits the MidState Soccer Club premier youth soccer program and complex in Decatur, IL. Over 130 teams with boys and girls ranging in age from 7-18 will be competing for the MidState Cup trophies. Come on out and help support this great program and root on the boys and girls!

The Course provides players with 5 alternate holes for those players with a more advanced skill level and also includes an alternate tee box for hole 13 for those players unsure of playing around the pond in Forsyth Park.

The Champaign Garden Inn is a stunning Victorian mansion built in 1900. Located in the Sesquicentennial neighborhood, our Champaign IL bed and breakfast is centrally located and walking distance to the recently re-developed Downtown area. When you arrive at the Inn the first thing you will notice is the gardens. We have numerous garden beds and grassy areas surrounding the Inn, designed to bloom throughout the season. The expansive wrap around porch and wicker furniture provide a perfect place to sit and enjoy the gardens. Through the front door you will be greeted by your innkeeper, Kevin Allen, and our two adorable doggy mascots, Dasher and Princess. Running the Inn is our full time passion, so we will be available to provide area information, restaurant reservations, or in the case of the doggies, make themselves available for scratches and love. On the main level you’ll find the living room, library, dining room and kitchen. The furnishings were selected with your comfort in mind, and hopefully you’ll have some time to enjoy the first floor. There is a 55 inch flat screen smart TV in the living room and lots of soft seating. The Library has books and games, as well as a computer station/wireless printer. The dining room was designed with separate seating so you can choose to socialize or be by yourself while having your morning coffee. The dining room is also a great place to spread out your projects and work while you’re here. Of course there is WIFI broadcast throughout the first floor, and whole house, to ensure you can stay connected.

It is tastefully furnished with antique country furniture the Gold's have collected over the past 25 years, and features Early American stenciling on the walls.
Sylvia's Irish Inn
Sylvia's Irish Inn is one of Urbana's finest examples of the Queen Anne style of Victorian architecture. It was designed by Rudolph Zachariah Gill, an 1887 graduate of the University of Illinois in architecture and engineering, and was built in 1895 for Dr. Austin Lindley, a prominent physician and surgeon for the Big Four Railroad in Urbana.
