The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee
Tuneful, clever and uproarious, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee follows the story of six overachieving and quirky adolescents pitted against each other in the spelling challenge of a lifetime. To raise the comical bar, four audience members get the opportunity to participate in this quirky musical as onstage bee contestants. Through the ups and downs of the bee, the youngsters are forced to learn that winning isn't everything and losing doesn't necessarily make you a loser.

Fullersburg Woods Forest Preserve
Just 20 miles from downtown Chicago, located in Oak Brook, IL is the Fullersburg Woods Forest Preserve. It’s an easy hike consisting of a 3.2-mile loop. The trail is good for all skill levels and offers a number of activity options. Nearly all of the hike follows Salt Creek as it winds around the bluff and past a few islands on its way to the historic watermill at the south tip of the park.

With revolution in the air and Javert closing in, Valjean has no choice but to fight for his life and sacrifice everything to protect the people he loves. Les Misérables is the recipient of over 50 international theater awards and is considered the world's longest running musical.

Berwyn Route 66 Wayside Exhibits
The City of Berwyn has placed four exhibits on Ogden Avenue to educate travelers, tourists, and residents about Berwyn's heritage as one of the first eastern suburban communities along Historic Route 66. Berwyn's four exhibits feature the origin of the Ogden corridor and its early history, its first auto-oriented "fast food" restaurants, and its automobile-based economy and car culture. Berwyn Route 66 Museum
The Berwyn Route 66 Museum is not quite what you might be expecting. Aside from hundreds of Route 66 related artifacts, there's also a wall of art hubcaps, a bell from the original LaVergne School that predates Route 66, an electric vehicle charging station in front of the museum. The museum also provides gallery space for the Berwyn Arts Council. Several times every year the Museum hosts shows for area artists. In addition, the Museum has several ongoing restoration projects including cars from the Spindle Sculpture that appeared in Cermak Plaza from 1989 until 2008.
Breakfast with Santa at the Brookfield Zoo
The family can enjoy an all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet with a special appearance from Santa and Mrs. Claus along with some special zoo costumed characters. Christmas Concert at Gaelic Park
This new act, making their first appearance in the Chicagoland area, is fresh, talented & unique. Their repertoire features a blend of Irish ballads, popular classics and contemporary songs. The six brothers, with a passion for singing and performing from a very young age, hail from Co. Wicklow in Ireland. They have just completed a very successful Irish tour and have made several appearances on RTE television & performed at the Rose of Tralee festival.
