Autumn Craft & Treasures Market
The 44th annual Autumn Craft & Treasures Market, sponsored by the Sycamore Music Boosters, is part of the Sycamore Pumpkin Festival weekend October 29 & 30, 2016. This event will be held at the Sycamore High School Fieldhouse, Saturday, October 29 from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm and Sunday, October 30 from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. There are over 250 vendors featuring a wide variety of quality crafts, handmade wood products, specialty items such as wool products, candles, spices, candies, antiques, ceramics and much more.

Celebrate the beginning of Summer German-style the Sport Verein’s annual Sommerfest at Hickory Grove Park. This is a family friendly event. Free admission. Rock, blues and pop music is featured along with Bratwurst, Kraut, German Potato Salad and Bratwurst sandwiches! Entertainment: Cusack Brothers from 12:30pm-3:00 pm. Ed and Judy from 3:30-7:30 pm Soccer will be played on the main field. Glencoe Festival of Art
Free and open to the public, the Glencoe Festival of Art will showcase the work of more than 110-juried artists from across the country in a variety of mediums, including painting, photography, ceramics, glass, jewelry, and wood. In addition to the incredible artwork available for purchase, attendees will be able to interact with artists through demonstrations and booth chats. 3rd Annual Craft Ale Fest
Locals and visitors alike looking to sample the flavors of Lombard shouldn’t miss the 3rdnd Annual Lombard Ale Fest on Saturday, June 11th, 2016. Situated in the heart of downtown Lombard, and adjacent to the Metra Station, the fest will feature over 80 unique beers from more than 40 craft breweries both from Lombard, Chicagoland and around the country, as well as foods that pair well with the brews, from some of Lombard’s favorite restaurants. The fest starts at 1 p.m. and goes until 5 p.m.
Midtown Ethnic Parade and Festival
The third annual Day of Celebration of all the diverse cultures in Rockford includes a parade of colors and customs with dancing dragons, bagpipes, ethnic dance troupes, music and more. The festival features international foods, a beer garden, performances, information, genealogy, a children's activity area, and much more. The festival begins at noon, the parade begins at 1:00pm.

Sip on local favorites and explore new beers from more than 40 breweries while enjoying the beautiful surroundings of The Morton Arboretum. Guest restaurants and Arboretum concessions will be available on-site for purchase. Bring a chair or lie down on a blanket to soak in the summer sun while listening to live music by the feel-good country rock band Summer Son. This event is rain or shine.

Beer Garden and Fish Fry at Pere Marquette Lodge
Featuring live bluegrass music, delicious fried fish and Green Jack Ales. Green Jack Ales are well-known for their "hoppy character". With malted wheat and barley, traditional English cone hops are blended with hops from the New World in generous proportions to give the ales floral, citrus and fruity aromas. No entry fees or reservations are taken for this event but seating is limited so feel free to bring your lawn chairs and picnic blankets just in case. June Jam at John Deere Historic Site
When you step foot on these grounds, it will feel like taking a step back in time. Take in the picturesque landscape and learn of the John Deere Historic site as you enjoy the year's June Jam. This event is an open stage format where musicians have 15 minutes to perform Bluegrass, Country, Folk, and Light Rock Music. Hours noon - 5pm and admission is $5.00 or a canned good that will be donated to a local food bank.
Bishop Hill Folk Music Festival
Bishop Hill village park is the center for the best eclectic gathering of folk/ethnic musicians of the Midwest. Cantigny Park is pleased to announce Art in Bloom, an outdoor arts festival on June 18 and 19. More than 80 juried artists will showcase their work amidst Cantigny’s beautiful gardens, grounds and museums. Art in Bloom 2016 promises even more excitement than our past art festivals, which are always among the park’s most popular events.
Francis Park 4th of July Celebration
The festival features annual pancake breakfast, ethnic food fair, arts and craft show, classic car show, steam engine display, antique tractors, a kiddies’ tractor pull, entertainment and tours of Woodland Palace. Stay for the evening and at dusk the Kewanee Chamber of Commerce hosts a fireworks spectacular at Northeast Park in Kewanee. Events begin at 6 am.
Carbondale Grand Fest!
Saturday August 13 Come and Enjoy Free Live Music in the heart of Carbondale! The festival will be held on Grand Ave between Wall St and Washington St. There will be a variety of musical performances along with food and beer vendors.
