10th Annual Music & Wine Festival
The 11th Annual Music & Wine Festival at Hill Prairie Winery is a popular event that features fresh grilled BBQ, two great bands each day and of course; locally produced wine. Relax in a natural setting overlooking a pond and the vineyard in the rolling hills of Hill Prairie Winery, just south of Oakford, Illinois and approximately 10 minutes north of Lincoln’s New Salem in Petersburg.

Americana and roots music fans will find a full menu of talent at FitzGerald's 34th Annual American Music Festival brought to you by FitzGerald's. The summer 3-day event features more than 50 artists from Chicago and around the country. FitzGerald's American Music Festival takes place rain or shine on three stages -- club, tent and SideBar. Hours are 4:30 p.m. to 1 a.m. on July 2, 4:30 p.m. to 2 a.m. on July 3 and 4; 1 p.m.-3 a.m.
3rd Annual Crusin’ To The Dairy Car Show

43rd Annual Gurnee Days Celebration
Gurnee Days returns this week for 4 days of family fun. 46th Annual Threshing Show and Antique Show
The Stephenson County Antique Engine Club proudly presents this annual event, "The Freeport Show". It offers over 300 antique steam and horse-powered engines, equipment, and gas engines. This year's feature is Allis-Chalmers. There will be a huge parade daily at 1 pm, a large flea market, a large display building offering home antiques, crafts, demonstrations, and farm miniatures, Gasoline Alley featuring The Rawleigh gas engines, sawmill, and blacksmith shop. There will be threshing demonstrations with both steam and gas tractors, and working demonstrations throughout the show grounds. Also, ride the Silver Creek and Stephenson Railroad antique steam train. Great food is offered. Don't miss the Farmer's Hitch Class, Horse Pull or the Midwest Championship Antique Tractor Pull.
49th Annual Virginia Bar-B-Que
Join the celebration of summer with activities for all on the downtown courthouse lawn. Opening ceremonies begin on Friday evening and events continue through Sunday's final Nashville Country act on the stage. 72nd Annual National Sweetcorn Festival
Held each year over Labor Day weekend, the National Sweetcorn Festival is best known for distributing over 50 tons of free, antique steam engine cooked, sweetcorn each year! Traditional carnival rides and grandstand events are additional highlights throughout the weekend, and the festival is home to the annual National Sweetheart pageant, a highly recognized pageant in which nine former contestant have gone on to become Miss America.
8 Miles of Ag-tiques
8 Miles of Ag-tiques begins on Highway 26 north of Orangeville. Each stop will feature different tractors including John Deere, Massey Harris, International Harvester, Oliver, Minneapolis-Moline, Allis Chalmers, and other old machinery from the Good Old Days. There will be food, craft shows, tractor drives on Saturday.

A Hundred Acres Orchard and Market
A fun-filled orchard featuring apples, berries, melons. The indoor market is filled with jams, jellies, sauces, dips, salsas, candy and homemade "take n bake" pies. Also unique is the Krazy Kernel Kettle Korn, produced right in Princeton! Specialty cheeses, such as Antonella, Buffalo Wing Jack, and Tomato Basil Yellow Cheddar are also available. Pair these cheeses with some of the wines that are sold in the new wine shop, or enjoy your purchase on the newly constructed outdoor patio area. Adams County Fair
