Six Flags Great America/Hurricane Harbor 2010 Season
Six Flags Great America is fun for the whole family with 13 heart-pounding roller coasters, a free 20-acre water park, spectacular shows and parades, family rides and big pint-sized fun for the kids with four children's areas including Wiggles World and over 35 rides for the little ones. New for 2010 will be the Glow in the Park parade - Watch in enthrallment as custom floats with vibrant-multicolored lights illuminate the night. Also new is The Little Dipper, a vintage wooden coaster from Kiddieland Amusement Park. This family-friendly ride with an honored past will become Six Flags Great America's 14th coaster! The best water park in the nation, Hurricane Harbor, provides wild and wet fun for the whole family, with 26 water slides, a massive wave pool, and Skull Island - an interactive water playground. Brookfield Zoo
Situated on 216 beautifully landscaped acres, the park is home to bears, gorillas, giraffes, dolphins, tigers, and much more. The zoo also offers an authentic Carousel and a wide variety of shopping and dining options, including Safari Grill and La Gran Cocina. Brookfield Zoo is located just minutes west of downtown Chicago and is open every day of the year. Free days are Tuesday & Thursday in November and December, and Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday & Sunday in January and February. Brookfield Zoo is owned by the Forest Preserve District of Cook County and managed by the Chicago Zoological Society whose mission is to inspire conservation leadership by connecting people with wildlife and nature.

Morton Arboretum
Magnificent, 1,700-acre museum of trees and plants from around the world, including a Maze and Children's Garden, hiking trails, paved roads, restaurant, gift shop, open-air tram and handicapped-accessible facilities.

Chicago Botanic Garden
One of America's leading public gardens, the gorgeous Chicago Botanic Garden is on 385 acres. Take a nature walk or hop aboard a guided tram tour to view more than 20 beautiful formal gardens. Enjoy dining, shopping and featured exhibits, such as the entertaining Model Railroad Garden, opening May 9. It features 16 garden-scale model trains that chug past miniature scenes of some of America's favorite landmarks, including a Hollywood vignette complete with Grauman's Chinese Theatre.

Frank Lloyd Wright Home & Studio
This unusual complex served as Wright's private residence and studio from 1889 to 1909 - the first 20 years of his career. Wright used his home as an architectural laboratory, trying out design concepts before sharing them with clients. Here, he raised six children with his first wife, Catherine Tobin, and designed such famous buildings as the Robie House, Larkin Building and Unity Temple. With 25 Wright buildings in the neighborhood surrounding the Home & Studio, Oak Park is an outdoor museum of architectural history. Self-guided exterior audio tour of the Historic District surrounding the Frank Lloyd Wright Home & Studio is available from 10am to 3:30pm daily. Weekend guided exterior walking tour of the Historic District is available (times vary, subject to availability). Advance reservations required for groups of 10 or more: call 708 848-1978.

Long Grove Historic District
This charming little village was settled in the early 1800's by German farmers. Now their business district is home to over 80 shops and restaurants that cater to the needs of the modern shopper however the early charm is still here.

Legoland Discovery Center
