This complex celebrates farming and the man who changed it forever when he invented the first self-scouring plow in 1848. The Pavilion includes agricultural exhibits and displays of mammoth John Deere equipment, as well as The John Deere Store.

NAUVOO TEMPLE

The stunning Nauvoo Temple is a recreation of the original Mormon temple that was destroyed in the mid-1800s. Mormon contractors built the limestone replica to exact detail on the site of the original temple, often using construction methods from the 1840s. Nauvoo Temple is not open to the public.

The restored home of Quincy's founder and the 12th governor of Illinois is recognized by historians and architects as one of the Midwest's finest examples of Greek Revival architecture. Also on site is a pioneer log cabin and The Parsonage museum.
