The 2019 Sesser Homecoming & Rend Lake Days is 4 days of old fashioned family fun. Sesser uses over 60 years of experience and know how to create a unique festival. It has developed recipes and grilling secrets to make the best in the midwest Rend Lake BBQ Sandwiches and Sesser Corn on the Cob. This great food is only available once a year at the Sesser festival!
Bring the lawn chairs to sit back and enjoy free live music each evening! Wednesday, Hoot N Holler, a local 4-piece band will perform a mix of country, blues and southern rock. Thursday, The Howlin’ Brothers from Nashville, TN will play the slide banjo, harmonica, and old-time fiddle to create a unique performance. Friday, country artist John Berry will be on stage singing his greatest hits. Saturday, Shenandoah will be performing their Grammy winning music and Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart hits.
The Sesser festival also has a 5k run-walk, car show and much more. Of course this festival offers a midway with carnival rides, games and fair food.
