A celebration of Springfield's best eats and a mythical apple!
This year’s Amaranth Apple Festival celebrates its second year as a fresh, fun, weirdly-named art, music and culinary festival. With everything having a touch of the mystical "Amaranth Apple", the celebration of the Springfield poet, Vachel Lindsay, continues through literary, artistic, musical and culinary pursuits. This two-day festival in July is economically priced for all ages, attracting all demographics to the center of our city, featuring two stages, a children’s art area, and more.
