Enjoy a stroll or carriage rides through the Village of Bethalto as the Christmas spirit comes to life!
For more than 25 years, the Bethalto Spirit Group has held its annual Bethalto Spirit Victorian Christmas Walk the second Sunday in December from 4-7 p.m. The free event provides attendees an opportunity to stroll through the downtown area, returning to a time in history when things moved at a much slower pace. Refreshment booths dot the downtown area providing cookies, roasted chestnuts, hot chocolate and cookies and carolers, carriage rides and costumed characters of the time period patrol the streets.
